Hi, I'm Krista! ​

I understand how difficult it is being in a constant battle with food and your body. I've been there from counting macros, to limiting my carb and calorie intake, and a few diets in between. It's not fun, it's not sustainable, and it's NOT healthy.
​
Thankfully I found the path to food freedom early on. Now as a Registered Dietitian, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and dieter turned intuitive eater I get to help others do the same!
Which is exactly why I created this program o help you find your way to FOOD FREEDOM.​
THE PRIVATE NUTRITION & FOOD FREEDOM PROGRAM BREAKDOWN (WHAT'S INCLUDED):
1. 12-weeks of one-to-one support with Krista, a Registered Dietitian & Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor

2. 60-minute kick off session

During this video call we will dive deep into YOU. We will take a look at your health history, previous dieting experiences, lifestyle and address your biggest concerns. We will determine what you want to achieve over the next 12 weeks and set up a roadmap to do so.

3. The Formula for Food Freedom: Online Course
-
10-weeks of video modules, resources and action steps to guide your journey. Here's what you can expect to find in each week:

Week 1: ​Validating your decision to stop dieting (the evidence + your experiences)

Week 2: Overcoming diet culture
-
Week 3 & 4: Understanding hunger and fullness (stop over & under-eating and start fuelling yourself appropriately)

Week 5 & 6: Ending the food fight (no more food rules, uncontrollable cravings and food guilt)

Week 7: Emotional eating, self-care and intuitive movement
-
Week 8: Body image work (understanding metabolism, your body and how to accept it)

Week 9 & 10: You new way of eating- embracing nutrition (what you need to know about nutrition and fuelling your body)

4. Minimum bi-weekly check-ins

Regular check-ins from Krista to keep you accountable and ensure you are making progress towards your goals

5. Unlimited messaging support

An open chat to meet any further needs. Krista will be there to answer your questions, comments, concerns, progress and anything in between. Think of it as a dietitian in your pocket!

6. 45-minute wrap-up Session
-
Towards the end of the 12-weeks you will hop on another video call with Krista. This session will reserved to review your progress, address any further concerns and make a plan as you continue on your personal health journey independently.
PROGRAM COST: $698 (or 2 payments of $349)

How much of my time is required for this program?
​
The program is delivered over a 12-week period. During these 12-weeks we will have one-60 minute video call at the start and one 45-minute video call at the end. You will receive bi-weekly check-ins that you should respond to for best results. The amount of time you want to spend in messaging support will be up to you. The video lessons from the course component are relatively short (most under 10 minutes with the longest ones just slightly above) and no more than 3-4 videos per week. The amount of time spent on your action steps will vary depending on your needs and where you're currently at, but generally this program will not take too much of your time and is designed to help you free up your time in the future.
Will I learn about intuitive eating?

Of course! Ultimately, intuitive eating is the way to food freedom. All principles of intuitive eating are incorporated within this program in some way, shape or form.
Can I get this program covered by insurance?​
​
Depends! You may have coverage specifically for dietitian services and/or an additional health spendings account that could be used towards this program. Check with your insurance company to see if this program qualifies for coverage! I do not direct bill, so it will be your responsibility to determine this.
Is this program for me if I have a health condition (i.e. diabetes, heart disease, irritable bowel disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc.)?​

Regardless your health condition, everyone deserves to find food freedom. Intuitive eating plays a role in improving health/health conditions. While this program is not geared toward any specific health condition, we will do a review of your health history in the beginning and take all of this into account throughout our time together. If, in addition to this program, you're looking for more focus on a specific health condition you may need to book additional sessions.

Is this a weight loss program? ​
​
No. Numerous studies have actually demonstrated that weight loss focused approaches, such as dieting, have many detrimental impacts on health. In fact, studies have suggested that it is more likely individuals will regain weight after dieting (often times more than what was originally lost). When you are fully able to embrace Intuitive Eating (with the help of this program), your body will settle to its desired set weight point. This is a point that can be easily maintained when you're taking care of your body properly and without having to restrict (i.e. your healthy weight).
